What is MasterCard MENA Acquirer Forum?

This forum is an event organized by Mastercard every year and it comprises various presentations, fast paced conversations and panel discussions covering different topics of innovations taking place in the Merchant Acquiring space. During the sessions, different speakers talk about the business opportunities, success stories, challenges and share their learnings with each other.

How was MasterCard MENA Acquirer Forum 2017 different?

In 2017 forum, Mastercard had planned to recognize different initiatives across following three key categories from MENA region:

  1.       Best Performance in eCommerce
  2.       Most innovative solution deployed for cash displacement
  3.       Best Government or B2B solution

Evaluation Process

All the nominations received by MasterCard were reviewed and evaluated by a jury comprising specialists from the function.
